Reed Diffusers — Care, Refills & Reeds

Long-lasting fragrance, zero flame. Learn care tips, fix common issues, and reorder reeds or oil refills here.

Quick Start (3 steps)

  1. Uncap & place your diffuser on a stable surface.

  2. Insert reeds (start with 6–8).

  3. Flip weekly for best scent throw.
Tip: More reeds = stronger scent. Fewer reeds = lighter.

Scent Strength & Room Sizing

  • Small spaces (bath/entry): 5–6 reeds

  • Standard rooms (bed/office): 7–9 reeds

  • Open areas (living room): 10–12 reeds, flip twice weekly

Troubleshooting

  • Weak scent? Add 2 reeds and flip. Move away from drafts/vents.

  • Too strong? Remove a few reeds or place higher on a shelf.

  • Reeds look clogged? Replace every 4–6 weeks for best performance.

  • Oil level not moving? Dry air or sealed rooms can slow diffusion—add reeds and flip more often.

Refills & Reuse

Keep your bottle—just refill and refresh the reeds.

  • Refill oil: sized for a full 3.5 oz bottle.

  • Reed replacement: swap with every refill for a clean, even throw.

  • Local? Bring your clean jar for in-store refill pricing.

Safety

Keep away from heat/flames. Avoid contact with skin, finished surfaces, and fabrics—wipe spills immediately. Keep out of reach of children & pets.

FAQs

How long will it last?
About 2–3 months per 3.5 oz bottle, depending on reeds, airflow, and climate.

How often should I flip reeds?
Weekly. For a boost before guests arrive, flip 30 minutes ahead.

Do I need new reeds with each refill?
Yes—reeds saturate over time and stop wicking efficiently.
