One of the things that brings us the greatest joy as a small business is discovering other businesses that care deeply about what they create. And sometimes, those businesses are practically our neighbors.

We're delighted to introduce Metolius Tea , a Bend-based company creating organic teas, chai, matcha and botanical syrups.

Metolius is the brand we've chosen for our tea and specialty beverage service at Fae Fire.

Their commitment to quality goes far beyond making something delicious. They thoughtfully source organic ingredients, build relationships with farmers and consider the social and environmental impact of their work. Their botanical syrups are brewed with real organic ingredients rather than artificial flavorings.

Inspired Leaf is a small, family-owned business that creates artisan whole-leaf teas using carefully selected ingredients. Their blends are made in small batches and packaged by hand, reflecting their belief that tea is an opportunity to slow down and enjoy the present moment.

We carry Inspired Leaf teas in our retail collection so you can discover new flavors and bring your favorites home.

From classic black teas to colorful fruit infusions and fragrant herbal blends, there's something especially enjoyable about exploring a new tea and finding your own way to serve it.

We're proud to share shelf space with both of these Central Oregon businesses, and we hope you'll enjoy getting to know them as much as we have.

Why we're introducing artisan beverages at Fae Fire

Our philosophy has always been simple: Calm the Chaos.

Sometimes that means taking an hour to create your own candle. Sometimes it means finding a thoughtful gift for someone you love. And sometimes it means sitting down with a beautifully prepared drink and enjoying a little time to yourself.

Our growing wine and tea lounge brings those experiences together.

We want you to have a place where you can meet a friend, catch up over a cup of tea, enjoy a specialty latte while you shop or discover a new drink you can't wait to make again.

We're starting with a carefully selected menu and taking the time to learn each recipe properly. We're practicing our steaming techniques, experimenting with flavor combinations and finding the right finishing touches.

We're learning one beverage at a time until we're happy to put it in front of you.

As we continue to develop our menu over the next six to twelve months, we'll introduce more specialty teas, artisan lattes, mocktails and cocktails. And whenever we discover something we think you'll love, we'll share it here.

Some recipes will be inspired by our friends at Metolius, with full credit and links to their original creations. Others will be developed in our own little beverage corner at Fae Fire.

And, of course, we'll show you where to find the ingredients and accessories you need to recreate your favorites at home.
